How much does it cost to also get a haircut?
It cost an extra £22.00 if you would also like to have a haircut. The total for both chemical straightening and hair cut will be £82.00.

Can you colour or highlight hair after chemical straightening?
If the hair is going to be coloured, it should be done at least two weeks before or two weeks after the straightening treatment.
If you have previously coloured your hair please note that this treatment can sometimes make the colour fade.

Is chemical straightening suitable for all hair types?
We generally do this treatment on healthy natural hair. In most cases we will not be able to offer this chemical straightening treatment to clients who have had an all-over bleach application, high-lift tint, bleach highlights or a perm. Can Afro hair be straightened with the chemical hair straightening treatment?
Unfortunately, our stylists are not trained in doing Afro hair.

Does chemical hair straightening damage hair?
Chemical straightening can be damaging if the straightening product is left on the hair for an excessive amount of time and if it is applied to hair which has been sensitised e.g. through previous colours, perms or heat damage.

How long does chemical hair straightening last?
This treatment will make the hair straight but after a few weeks, the hair will slowly become wavy/curly again. By then most men will be getting their hair cut again.

How often will I need to redo the Hair Straightening?
You can come in to have it done again when your new growth is at least 1 inch long which is approximately after 2 months.

How long does chemical hair straightening take to do?
It usually takes approximately 1.5 hours.

How long should you wait to wash your hair after chemical straightening?
Please do not shampoo or get the hair wet for 3 days.

Will I still need to use electric Hair Straighteners?
Some people still like to use straighteners to smooth out the hair but normally you will no longer need straighteners to achieve Straight Hair.

Is there anything I should not do with my hair after it's chemically straightened?
You should not colour your hair for at least 14 days after having the straightening done. To avoid splashing the hairline with water. It's recommended that you use face wipes instead of washing your face with water. You can also keep your hair dry by wrapping it in a towel when having a bath or shower. You must not perm the hair.

Will my hair be flat after the Hair Straightening treatment?
Newly Straightened Hair may be a little bit flat for some people.

How much does chemical hair straightening cost?
The cost for the chemical hair straightening treatment is: £60. I had an allergic reaction the last time I had a perm. Will it be safe to have the chemical Hair Straightening treatment?
Perm lotions and chemical Hair Straightening treatments both contain very similar ingredients which mean there would be a very high risk of you having another allergic reaction to this treatment and so we would not be able to do this service for you.

Is this treatment suitable for long hair?
This treatment is suitable for men with short hair which is approximately 4 inches long. It is not suitable for men with long hair. If you have hair longer than 4 inches please see hair straightening for long hair
